WOW! Haven't posted anything in a looong time. What's wrong with me?!
To sum it up:
Had a great end of summer!
Roadtripped back up to Michigan in October to visit Traverse City (where we learned you should always book a hotel in advance lest you want to be up all night calling all hotels within a 20mi radius) - we explored the Leelanau Peninsula this time and tasted some wonderful wines. We then went further north to Mackinac Island (where of course, we got married almost 2 years ago) where we stayed for an entire week ON-ISLAND! It was marvelous! My husband and I also ran in the Great Turtle Marathon (my husband did the half marathon and I ran the 5.7mi run) - honestly one of the most beautiful races I've ever run. The views were stunning.
Anyhow - from that trip on we've been super busy (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and I feel like I haven't unpacked my bags since. We went up to New York, took some trips down to Virginia, hosted a stellar holiday party, drove to Wisconsin for Christmas...needless to say it's been a whirlwind!
Rest assured, I have returned to the blogging world! (cue the evil laughter here --> muahahaha)

So, my NYE "resolution" is to further our vineyard knowledge in all ways possible! We'll be visiting more vineyards including our favorite vineyard in the area (Running Hare Vineyard), soaking up information, and taking classes in viticulture and oenology! I'm sure I'll be blogging all about it! :D
